Fully automated a 360-degree high-rise property

‍Premium Digital Control provided a one-touch all-powerful Crestron system, making it one of the most automated spaces in the ultra-rich 45-story residential building. The upgrade resulted in different levels of smart lighting illumination as well as quick actions for the automated window treatments, and door sensors. On a daily basis, the shades didn’t require pushing a button. 

Also, we installed a smart home system consisting of automated shades and drapery tracks; centralized lighting; surveillance cameras, and enterprise-grade network as well as TVs, ceiling lifts, pool control, and a climate control system. All the systems and subsystems were simplified and seamlessly integrated based on the homeowner’s request.‍

PROJECT BREAKDOWN

Audio distribution: Crestron Swamp 24×8 with complementing Swamp expander delivered high-output audiophile sound quality to every room for the homeowner, and proved to be the best choice as it reduced cabling and lowered power consumption.‍

Video distribution: Crestron’s DM-MD32x32 digital media switcher provided ultra-fast digital video and audio-switching and lossless 4K, HD multi-room signal distribution. This also provided enjoyment for the client who liked having his TV in the bedroom unfold effortlessly from the ceiling down into one of the position presets and retracts back out of sight when no longer needed. The automated drop-down TV ceiling hinge mount by Future Automation is controlled by the Crestron system.‍

Integration control: Integration involved full control of the Crestron lighting, Crestron shades, surveillance, door sensors and the HVAC ‍

Network: Revamped the network with Araknis dual-WAN router, including two 48-port POE+ switches and Wi-FI 6 Ruckus access points to deliver high network speeds and a strong signal‍

Intercom:  Audio intercom was installed between touch screens. The intercom system made it easy to screen visitors, answer the door remotely.. The intercom system could also be used for phones and other mobile devices.‍

Lighting control: The Crestron centralized lighting system installed in the residence allowed the client to easily operate and deliver the HCL (human-centric lighting) experience‍

HVAC control: The Crestron thermostat, with backlit-LCD display, saves on energy costs with advanced programming abilities

‍Security: Luma cameras and Crestron door sensors were installed. The choice of using Luma was for having crystal-clear video in 4K to avoid grainy, jumpy video.‍

Pool/Spa: Jandy IP controller was installed as the pool’s automation system for full customizable programming of features such as temperature, lighting, and purification for convenient management of a pool and/or spa.
